We just had our vacation in Bandung last week and we stayed at Serela Cihampelas Hotel. The location is really good as it is just across Cihampelas Walk. (Apologies. I forgot to take a photo of the hotel from outside.)

However, there is an on-going road construction in front of the hotel and along Cihampelas Road. With the non-stop rain and thunderstorm, your shoes can really get wet, dirty and muddy.

Hotel: Room 502 (Superior Room)
When I first saw our room, I felt disappointed by the look of it and suffocated by the smell of smoke. My husband convinced me that the hotel was fine and we will be out most of the time. Hence, I don't have to feel disgusted. Even though we were given a non-smoking room, the previous person who stayed in the room had actually smoked inside. There was even a cigarette butt in the shower. Moreover, the sink's faucet was dripping. It was very inconvenient when we were using the sink, and our feet got splash of water. There was no bath mat too on our first 2 days and was only provided on the 3rd day. The bed sheets and pillow cases look yellowish and old, with stains and smelly.

Buffet Breakfast
The variety of food served every breakfast was good enough for us. They always change the meat and vegetable everyday. It was filling for us and the staff were very accommodating.

Verdict: We will not stay in this hotel again and will consider other hotels for convenience. If you're looking for a budget hotel near Cihampelas Walk and shopping area, and if you're not fussy about the towels and bed sheets, this hotel could suit your taste like others. (",)
